Oh. My. God.
Solar eclipse projected through the ‘pinholes’, made by oak leaves, on my shed door.
The tiny gaps between each leaf act as individual pinhole cameras, morphing the shadows of the tree with projections of the obscured sun. Next eclipse, you can witness this yourself, or even replicate it by crossing your fingers over on another in a waffle patter.
Ok. Maybe this one is my favorite.
Witnessed the above effect in person as projected by the tree in my backyard.
To tell you the truth, I forgot the eclipse was today, and that it was to pass through California. When I went to water the plants and saw that the sky had taken on a greyish hue, I thought for a second that all that time spent in front of a computer had finally taken its toll on my color perception.
And then I looked on the wall of the house and saw this.
